What I ended up doing was having an Arduino Nano push the buttons of a remote control.</p>
<p dir="auto">For the Arduino part, I started with the GatewaySerial example.</p>
<p dir="auto">What this project shows is how to connect to a remote and get some primative feedback from the remote.</p>
<p dir="auto">So far it works pretty well.</p>
