<p dir="auto">this maybe very simple.....but i wanted to be sure doing it the right way.</p>
<p dir="auto">Im planing to use a DC-DC step-up converter so i can use less batterys on my portable project but not sure what is the best way to connect it to power source and breadboard (initially) and PCB (final product)</p>
<p dir="auto">It has 2 holes/plates for input (Vin/gnd) and 2 for output...no headers...</p>
<p dir="auto">Should I solder battery holder cables to input and solder 2 cables for output?...use headers?</p>

Those headers/duponts tends to slip out when you least want it.</p>
