To simplyfy testing and remove the need to build a new gateway i was thinking, is it possible to use the serial/usb interface on the esp8266 gateway as serial (using the existing sketch)? Reading sensors data what way is no problem, but can I also send commands that way? Unfortunatly I only have sensors so I am unable to test.
