Well, for small potted plants, you might have to re-pot the plant. However, the nice benefit that would arise is: no visible sensors, which carries with it very high WAF.
I am running straight off the webpage. Actually it doesnt apear I can get any of the sketches to run using either the browser plg in or the native IDE.... wishing I hadnt updated since this last set of changes.
@hek The capacitor addition seems to be helping. So far 9 hours and all the values are updating as they should YAY!
I'll continue to monitor but i'm hopeful that this is the solution.
@4994james or just use internal vcc measurement as described on the same page. That saves you the voltage divider.

Should anyone face the same problem, I found the root cause: brownout threshold. I burned a new bootloader (Optiboot 8.0) without such trigger and the node has been working with used batteries (~2.7V) since May.
