RE: Irrigation Controller (up to 16 valves with Shift Registers)
I have the irrigation controller all setup and working. I have one problem though as soon as I power it up with 5 volts for the pro mini sometimes one sometimes all the relays come on. If I am not home the water runs all day is there a programing change or a wire change I need to make to stop this. I was using the old wire diagram without the pull up on pin 13 of the 74hc I changed to the new version and added the lines off code but it still does not help.

RE: Ethernet Gateway/Domoticz Connection Reset
I am having the same problem with Domoticz. I know the gateway is working because I have it connected to Vera Lite as well and have no problems with it. Been trying to figure it out but at a dead end.

RE: Irrigation Controller (up to 16 valves with Shift Registers)
can I use pin D6 instead ok pin D8 to control the shift register. I am making the controller on the easy/newbie pc board and there is nothing connected to pin D8 on this board.

iriggation controller
I have got everything working without the relays hooked up. as soon as I hook up the relays to the shift register all of them activate and dim the power to the controller I have to unplug everything to get it working again, Everything is setup per the instructions
