    Hi!

    Let me start of by mentioning that English is not my native tongue so if there are anything I should explain further or rephrase please let me know.

    I’m planning a “DIY” heating system and I’m right now really interested in pihome’s solution.
    There is really only two things;

    • does anyone know if it’s possible to add a humidity sensor to the room sensor and have the communication work in the same way as the temperature sensor.

    Could someone estimate what impact this would have on the battery life?

    • the other thing is that I would like to send the data to a sql for further analysis. I’ve been looking into machine learning with deep learning and I would like to collect the data for testing algorithms on.

    Thanks in advance,

    Martin

      @martin1234567 There are devices called DHT (digital humidity temperature). A cheap one that is hardly accurate is the DHT11. If you want accuracy, the cost goes up exponentially.
