    Hi,
I was working with this antenna:
    http://www.ebay.com/itm/361690112043?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
and I can get the 1km distance they promised, but it got to be air distance. If I have one building in the way than it goes down to maybe 100 meter distance.
So I was recommended to use low frequency antenna. What is the best I can get?
    Thanks.

@mk55 radio range depends on a lot of factors, but the 433 MHz radios are probably your best bet https://www.mysensors.org/store/radio

Could you describe your use case? There might be other solutions that are useful. Repeaters or LoRa for example.

I'm planning on using it inside a greenhouse sending on/off signals.
I've got a pretty bad reception trying it inside the greenhouse. maybe because of the humidity...I don't know.
I thought about using repeaters but before I do, I want to try using different radio...
What distance I can get with the 433 MHz..?

@mk55 the range will depend on a lot of factors, but my google search results say 350-2400m.

One thread that might be of interest: https://lowpowerlab.com/forum/moteino/rfm69hw-driverange-test/

@mk55 I have not seen any. https://www.adafruit.com/products/3077 has the radio module soldered on the same board as the mcu, but no sma.
