Solved!
It was a hardware problem - I didn't put caps on the radio on the gateway or RGB node originally. I added them and the node added perfectly. I guess I got lucky originally that even the 2 devices appeared on the first try.
Thanks a lot , that is a big re-assurance , since that servo is hooked up on my heating system...... and it is still winter.
Still , there are 2 or 3 threads here on this forum saying they cab's get version 2.x to work with vera on Ui7.
I have a spare vera lite on Ui7 I will try this version 2.x on the vera lite first. But it will be for next week.
Thanks a lot so far!,

I just ended up going to my local Fry's store and spending 35.00 for that "OSEPP Nano". Plugged it in and serial showed right up no problem.
So I can confirm the cheap EBAY (some not all) don't work out of the box like a more expensive one. Atleast foe the controller. I'm sure I'll use the other 4.00 one for a sensor.
@olaeke : Thanks!
So in total four devices meaning, the Node itself and a device for every (Child)-Sensor. Makes sense.
Just wondering what other Controllers are doing here. I think at least some completely ignore the child node numbering and either put all values without context or all values under the Node.
