    Hello all,

Does anyone have a sketch for a water leak (on batteries) please?
I know there is an irrigation sketch discussed here
    http://forum.mysensors.org/topic/1866/how-do-i-add-the-soil-moisture-sensor-to-domoticz/2
but I'd like to have a simple sketch:

    1. yes / no leak
    2. battery voltage

probably, I need to start with a door/winter open/close detection and work it out for a water leak (S_WATER_LEAK)

    Thanks
    Alex

      Have a look here http://forum.mysensors.org/topic/1761/water-leak-detection/2

Controller: Proxmox VM - Home Assistant
MySensors GW: Arduino Uno - W5100 Ethernet, Gw Shield Nrf24l01+ 2,4Ghz
MySensors GW: Arduino Uno - Gw Shield RFM69, 433mhz

@sundberg84 Thanks - I saw this post, but it is far too complex for my needs. I need a simple detection. I have built one on Particle Photon similar to this, but it is not cost efficient as now I need 3-4 of such nodes (Particle Core + sensor = Euro 25-30).

All I need is Pro mini sleeping and if there is water detected, sending notification to Domoticz.

@alexsh1 - Dont know how safe it will be, but the simpliest would be to have a standard mysensorslink text button/reed switch sketch. Strip two wires and put side by side where you dont want water and when water arrives it will short the wires, causing an interupt and trigger a notification.

With stripped wires, check this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wXdzyjNHsLQ

I finally decided to go for a similar detection as pictured, but with Arduino Pro Mini powered by a battery in a sleeping mode.
