    Hi All,

    I wanted to use Ebyte nRF24L01P Wireless rf Transceiver E01-2G4M27D 27dBm SPI 2.4GHz with a bif antenna: TX2400-JKD-20 3.0dBi Flexible 2.4GHz RF

    But it seems an emission issue on the gateway side where I did put it.

    It is directly wired to the arduino.

    Any idea ?

    Have you added a capacitor as recommended?

    What are you using to power the whole thing? My bet is that it is the power supply that is causing issues here. Can you post a photo or sketch of how it is all connected up?

      I have a water counter that requires a value from the gateway.

      So the request is received but the answer is never received as it seems.

      Both are with a 5V 1A power generator, toward the arduino mini pro, then the 3.3V directly to the module.

      I've looked at the datasheet, I've seen nothing about a capacitor ?

        Good evening!! I also fought with some of those modules believing they didn't work, in the end the problem was the power supply !! Get tested now they work.
        Here is the scheme I used:

          @epierre Capacitor advice is on mysensors pages.

          @sindrome73 Has shown you very good advice and for the higher powered modules like this one I would replace the 4.7uF with a 47uF if you can. It will help stabilise voltage levels during transmit cycles.

          Good quality stable power supply with good solid connections (properly soldered would be best) and capacitor - then try again.

          What 5V1A power supplies are you using? Where do you get the 3.3V from?

          Photo or drawing with more info on the parts you are using might save you a lot of time while we are all guessing at the moment.....

            I suspect maybe that the 5V may not be that powerfull, I will enquire (I modified something recently...not sure anymore). Usually it is from phone charger. I've seen I have not changed the gain in the radio too, same code for a long time, my whole network is still in 1.6

            I've searched for the ld1117d33 (retired) or its clone, seems difficult to find.

                  Hard to tell much from that picture, but it looks like it's just an Arduino and a radio?

                  An AMS1117, according to this datasheet, should be able to handle 1 amp. That is plenty if I was right about it being just an Arduino and radio. (Also sounds like that's all you've talked about in this thread, so seems like a safe assumption.)

                  However, the previous suggestions about capacitors at both input and output of the AMS1117 are also good. See what sindrome73 posted. Just substitute the AMS1117 for the LD1117 and you should be good.
