Can't access PiDome local server

Hello,

I installed the server on my RPI with Raspbian today and followed the steps in your guide

However when I try and access my server through http://<local ip>:8080 I only get "Website cannot be reached" and "ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED"

Any hints?

I had the same problem, try https instead of http, add the security exception and it should work

I tried pidome last year. But the outdated tutorials didn't help me get going. Recently I have reported the steroids/viagra/pr*n links that fill the site, but nothing happened. This week the site has been down. Maybe they are back and fixing it? Maybe it's just crumbled from neglect. I moved to mycontroller. It shows potential and the developer is very responsive.
Added support for local MySensors RPI direct radio connection

Glad to hear you are back John! Maybe I should start a new thread but I'm having issues with the mysensors driver for version 1.4/1.5. It just stops listening on the port after a while and I have to reload the driver in order to make it processing messages again. In the management/drivers page there's nothing coming in under "last known messages" but if I do "cat /dev/ttyUSB0" I can see lots of messages. That makes me think the problem is with the driver. Does it sound familiar? I'm on the latest build released a few days ago and using a serial gateway.
