Help to dimmer a LED bulb 220V
-
Hello,
I would like to dimmer a LED bulb 220V via arduino (and then via MySensors). I've found this project:
http://www.instructables.com/id/Arduino-controlled-light-dimmer-The-circuit/
BUT AFAI've understood, seems that this wont work in case of LED bulbs, but only with classic Light Bulb Tungsten Filament.
On some LED bulbs I've read it needs a "LED SCR Dimmer" to control it.
Is that correct? Is there a way to do that?
Thanks a lot for any help!
Simon

Is there a reason why the light source in you case hasto be a 230vac light bulb? Why not replace the lightsource with you own MySensored light source running at for example 12vdc? Much easier to build. You will ned transformer to low voltage dc anyway.

The reason is to not modify the actual light source because all bulbs are already present.
It's difficult to create a dimmer for 220V source? I really don't know
