Welcome to the MySensors community @Pidde

An usb-based ir receiver would not use MySensors, but we do have an IR example that could be useful.

        Thanks for your reply

Which pins on the Raspberry do I connect the IR receiver on? I use RaZberry2 Z-Wave, and of course it has taken the first few ports on GPI0. As I understand it needs to IR receiver 3.3V and earth and GPI0 pin 18 (PCM_CLK) how should I do to install IR The receiver when I have RaZberry2 Z-Wave there

        /Peter

@Pidde the ir receiver would be connected to an Arduino. Wiring instructions are avilable on the page I linked.

@Pidde probably, but not in the MySensors library. You might have better chance in a more general diy electronics or a raspberry pi-oriented forum.

With that said, there are a lot of tinkerers in this forum so maybe someone will chip in.
