Hello DIY'ers,
There is a ESP-NOW based mesh network library https://github.com/aZholtikov/ZHNetwork developed by Alexey Zholtikov.

I have tested it and it works really great. I was able to get ~200m range non LOS (in my farm).

Experts and developers please can you look in to this?

It will be a great alternative to nrf24 as a $2 esp8266 has all the hardware built into it (mcu, radio, storage, encryption chip etc). It ill be a great hardware for simple diy hardware.

Hello everyone, Firstly, I apologize for reviving such an old thread, but I find myself in a unique situation and was hoping some of you might be able to help. I hope everyone's doing well. I have a specific inquiry that I couldn't find a recent solution for. Does anyone here know of a tool to generate "fake" Dooya remote (DC90) RF codes for curtains? I've acquired a few motors without controllers and am trying to integrate them with Home Assistant and Bradlink RF remote. Specifically, I'm searching for a way to generate codes for the Up, Down, Stop, and the "Set" button functions to configure curtain limits. Any insights or guidance would be immensely appreciated. Thank you so much in advance!

Generally, the problem is solved. All you need to do is initialize the PHY for ESP32 using the ETH.h library from the Espresiff package. Then it's a matter of eliminating the Wi-Fi initialization that is automatically started for ESP32. Interestingly, you can use two IP addresses at the same time, one from the PHY and the other from Wi-Fi - of course, Mysensors responds to both. If anyone is interested in the solution - I invite you to talk. I started Mysensors on the PHY of the Kicony KC868-A16 board and it works great.
