Different atsha204a
-
Hey, I just found out that there are different kinds of atsha204a chips (3 up to something like 8 legs). I have bougt 3 leg ones (VCC/GND/SDA). Does that one work for signing with mysensors?
Do you know the differences? Thanks

@LastSamurai Google is your best friend
http://www.atmel.com/images/atmel-8885-cryptoauth-atsha204a-datasheet.pdfThese are just different form factors and yes SOT version (3 contacts) works with MySensors signing

@alexsh1 Thanks. Yeah I found that datasheet but (not having read all 80 pages^^) I wasn't sure if having no SCL pin still works for signing.

@LastSamurai That's what I discovered as well - sometimes one has to read maybe not all 80 pages but say solid 20 pages to learn more. Data sheets are life savers

hi.
mysensors is compatible with sot version only for the moment. other package not yet if I'm right. sot version isn't i2c
sot version use one pin only.
