Just a heads up to prevent others from running in to same issue as I did.
I tried to use this board together with a RFM69 radio module that I had connected through a Logic Level Shifter connecting it to the 8 pin nRF24L01 interface but I just could not get it to communicate. The problem was that the MOSI,SCK, CE and CSn pins had some resistor bridge voltage dividers on the board. I removed the voltage dividers and it started to work.
I could probably have used the RFM69 module without the Logic Level Shifter directly on this board but I did not want to risk damaging the radios since they are the most expensive part in this setup.
