    Hi,
    Anyone recommend some flash for both 3 and 5v mix of mini, nanos and a few megas? Not sure whether I need spi or i2c either.

    Thanks!

      @shabba the forum post linked from https://www.mysensors.org/about/ota has a good discussion on flash options

            @shabba

            This will not work with ota

            1. it's an eeprom, not a flash (different command set)
            2. it only contains 16k byte (128kbits /8 bits per byte)

              @tbowmo yes - well spotted. Would be nice to have a clear recommendation that all can use and know to work.

                @shabba could you elaborate on why you can't use the recommendation from https://www.mysensors.org/about/ota ?

                  if you mean the AT25DF512C-SSHN-B then it is hard to find (in small quantities - I do see http://www.ebay.ie/itm/10x-AT25DF512C-XMHNB-Memory-Serial-Flash-Dual-Output-Read-SPI-104MHz-/201805447862?hash=item2efc8ac2b6:g:ks4AAOSw9GhYlJCY) and also not 5v friendly. I know I can drop voltage but I want to minimise components.

                    @shabba

                    As far as I can see (from search on mouser) there is no spi flashes available, which is capable at operating at 5V..

                    The closest is AT25XV021 / AT25XV041, which have an absolute maximum VCC of 4.4V
