Can vias and traces conduct electricity on PCB surface?
I was doing pcb design, encountered this problem.
@antonio the vias and traces are made for conducting electricity! Do you mean the insulation material in between? Yes - offcourse. It depends on the space between and the amount of current in the trace/via. There are safety distances and regulations when you design a board with higher voltage.
Are you a bot? I see this same question on some other forums... https://electronics.stackexchange.com/questions/275271/can-vias-and-traces-conduct-electricity-on-pcb-surface
@sundberg84 haha ,I did not found myself a robot,But thank you for your links.
