@ricorico94 welcome to the MySensors commu ity! All you need to do when switching from raspberry pi gateway to ethernet gateway is change the "hardware" configuration in Domoticz. However, if you are just starting out, don't use this gateway. It works for MySensors 1.x only. Use the new raspberry pi gateway instead.

@OldSurferDude well, the ESP8266 is limited to 4 TCP clients in arduino IDE. This can't be really increased. I did som experiments and you can set it up to 15, but after the 5th client on my web server, I got a freeze. Maybe you got something wrong. #define MY_GATEWAY_MAX_CLIENTS 2 defines how many controllers (eg Home Assistant) can connect to the gateway, not how many sensors/MySensors devices. And yes, you can have multiple TCP gateways in HomeAssistant. I got an NRF24, an RFM95 long range and a RFM95 short range gateway (all based on ESP32) on the same Home Assistant. Regards, Edi

@Chester good point, but I was restarting the arduino and still couldn't get this to work correctly. Also, the missing "end" was just missed out of the paste here, it was in my code.

Thanks gohan.. This forum is a great source of inspiration. Lots of examples of people and their own projects, and/or problems they encounter(ed). I'm fairly new to MySensors & Arduino, but i have a lot of experience with Atmel AVR. At this time, i'm more reading than writing: absorbing info first. Hopefully i can help out others too sometimes.. it's cool to share knowledge. I already have 10 Arduino Yúns & 2 Raspberries at my disposal (they belong to friends i'm helping out). It would be fun to find a sensible application to combine a MySensors radio network (or perhaps multiple networks), and the IOT-capabilities of the Yún(s) & Raspberries. But that's another project..

As promised, what I found so far: the following dockerfile yeilds a usable cross-compile environment, provided you use it with a Makefile. @alexsh1 Hi Alex, I tested the Sanity check on the the Arduino sensor node, and status came back OK. However I could get this to work on the Raspberry Pi, seems like this function is not yet supported. At least I couldn't find any info on it using the "./configuration -h". I don't have a AMS1117 available so I can test that. I connected my Arduino Nano and NRF24L01+ to the Raspberry Pi via USB, that would really well. So I might just use this solution instead as I see little benefit of connecting the NRF24L01 directly to the GPIO pins on the Raspberry Pi. Next step is to start building some battery powered sensors that I can use, and get MyController setup properly.

I think the something about order of initialisation was changed that fixed this problem. Try 1.4.1
