    • Android App - Client ethernet gateway

      Hi,

i built an app. You can connect to a mysensors ethernet gateway and it will display incoming messages.

It's not available through the app store. Here is the debug build of the app:

(link to debug build removed. Download via playstore)

      Notes

      • The app requires network access rights
      • Installation of apps from "unknown sources" has to be enabled to install and use this
        • See: Settings/Advanced Settings/Security/Unknown Sources
      • When connected, the app will keep the connection as long as the activity is in memory.

    • LED Lamp

For some time i wanted to build a lamp based on a WS2801 led strip i had laying around. It was one with the more bulky bulbs. They are bright, but not as easy to build into something. Then i came across this lamp in a hardware store. I ordered a ws2801 led strip (the slim version) and started building. The lamp itself acts as a mysensor actor. It also contains a thermometer and a buzzer.

@sundberg84 Thanks for the positive feedback. I'm already testing v1.1a which includes an additional view where you can send messages into the network. A release can be expected next week.

try to flash the "clear eeprom" sketch from the mysensors library and try again with your sketch.

    • RE: 💬 Light Level Sensor - BH1750

The BH1750FVI IC can handle 4.5V max and the normal operating voltage is 2.4V-3.6V.
So it should be ok to desolder the voltage regulator and drive this thing from the 2xAlkaline or 3xNIMH
