  • I would like to make my own dissolved oxygen sensor
    M Marc-Aurele

    Hello,

I would like to build my own dissolved oygen sensor based on fluorescent techonology. I know there are already manufacturers that build this kind of sensors but the devices sold are quite expensive.
The purpose is to embed this sensor with a very low power MCU to monitor oxygen in a lake and to report regularly the data over radio. The probe will need very low maintenance, that why i chose to use fluorescent technology : optode) So, is there someone who has already work on these sensors ?
I saw this article but i think the project didn"t succeed :

If you have any information or idea, please feel free to share ;)

    Best regards,

    Aurélien
