Apologies for using the forum so much lately, but I am building lots of sensors and get stuck every now and then. I have built the IR receiver/transmitter sensor. the transmit works fine but the receiver has some problems. First, it seems to be very insensitive. for the light to blink I need to put the remote touching the sensor. second, I get nothing in the program - it seems the input pin is not triggered. Now, I connected at first the sensor wrongly - switched data and ground. Could this ruin it? any other ideas?
