Radio receiving signal

I have a relay and a motion sensor on the same node, and my sensors shows up in Domoticz as expected. Motion detection is also going through to the Domoticz, however I'm not able to receive incoming messages on the node to control the relay. It only works if I move the node closer to the controller.
So it seems like my radio is able to send messages, but are struggling when it comes to receiving. Can I do something on the sketch to improve that? My controller is using a NRF24L01+PA+LNA, while my sensor has a NRF24L01+
