Status rading Node

Hi,
Was thinking to make node that could read status from other Nodes - like temperature, pressure, time... and present it on the attached display.
I am using Domoticz with serial GW.
Is it possible anyway?

@marekd - I have a LCD screen which fetch the outside temperature. This is a temp sent to Domoticz by another node. Dont know if thats what you are looking for...
