Moisture sensor example - pin A0
-
Hello,
Does anyone know the purpose of Pin A0 (it is not connected in the example)? Does it present a voltage depending to moisture level?
Is there a schematic?
Thanks,
Dieter

@y4cdw42ol8 Pin A0 is an analog output that does just as you said. Gives a voltage reading based on soil moisture. If this is connected to an analog pin, you canget a varied reading of the soil moisture.
The D0 in the example works based on a level set by the potentiometer on the board to set a trigger level. Once the soil moisture gets above that trigger level, the state will change from logic 0 to logic 1.
