HASS.IO not doing anything
-
Hello I have loaded Hass.IO for raspberry Pi 2 and it boots showing the Logo but nothing else ever happens. I go to the webpage it says it should load , http://hassio.local:8123 but it never connects. I know the raspberry Pi works because I ran raspierian on it before I put sd card in and booted from Hass.io.
Any help
Thank You

I think it's better for you to ask in Home assistant forum, as there are for sure more people using HA over there.
-
I thought this was HA forum?
-
It is mysensors forum with this section about mysensors used with HA, since your problem is about the installation of HA I think it is better to look at the official forum.
-
I am on my way thanks

you should wait about 10-20min to first time to setup all... after that try http://local_ip_addres_here:8123 and it should be working..
than you need to add mysensors as component, look here: https://www.home-assistant.io/components/mysensors/

Thanks I will try that you are first on HA or this site to mention it takes that long to show up.
Wel I waited for 1 hr after screen went blank and your suggestion did not work , I believe their is an issue with Hass.io v0.67
-
I can suggest you to try and flash version prior to v0.67 with "etcher" (That's what I flashed and then updated to V0.67 so can't tell you if there is an issue with v0.67) and wait for about 20 min after booting it up from the sd card (for installation). But before that, did you try to ping the address of the hassio to see if it's connected to the same net ? to see if you can access it at all... start with "ping hassio" in the cmd and see if it has a reply
-
Where do I find previous of Hass.io? And yes I can ping Hass.io so I do know that part is working. Also I waited for more than 1 hour before trying to get webpage to show up by using the pingable address in the address line of my browser.
-
@mntlvr you can google "hass.io" released versions for example...
I have no problem with v0.67 (upgraded) so maybe something in the flashing went wrong, try to flash it again with the "etcher" and update us about the status

Are you using a pi 2 or up 3? I am using a pi 2 and what about my internet I only have 6 mbit connection
-
Mine is RPI3
I don't think that it has a relation to your internet.
Try flashing the SD card again by following these instructions :

Will try thanks

By the way re-flashing the card did not help still can not login to web page.
Are these versions only for PI-3 or will they work on PI-2?

Sorry to hear that.
I think the .img file is the same but I'm not 100% sure.
