New to MySensors. My question is about power consumption. More specifically how MySensors compare to WiFi. I know WiFi is a power pig and I am hoping MySensors' radio is significantly less of one. All of my stuff will be run via battery (drawn from a 12v bank and converted as needed).
Has anyone compared MySensors to their WiFi counterparts with power consumption in mind?

Thanks and have a good day.

Hi @alaskadiy, welcome to the forum.

If you haven't already, see the battery page.

MySensors supports different microcontrollers and radios so there is no generic answer. But it is possible to build MySensors-nodes that last 10 years on 2xAA batteries.
