Do you have any plans around plugin API for your system? It can be very helpful for situations when some of us have 3rd party systems in our home automation projects and we would like to develop connectors to them and may be even publish that.

One of cases from the head - there is project named blynk and they have awesome IOS & Android apps http://www.blynk.cc/ I was thinking that it could be really nice to have connector to them in your system but at the same time I understand that instead of create connector to the particular system better is create possibility to extend your platform

      Hi Alex,

I just seeing http://www.blynk.cc I do not know does MyController.org will fit with this.

API - MyController.org already have REST API. GUI communicates with backend via REST API. You can have a look at https://github.com/mycontroller-org/mycontroller/tree/development/src/main/java/org/mycontroller/standalone/api/jaxrs

I mentioned blynk just for example. They have very nice apps for IOS & Android and that is what i don't see in mycontroller.org project. I think mobile access is very important in nowadays. I understand that probably it is not good idea to send all sensors data to another controller which is has own storage and own UI, but for some cases it does make sense.

So because it is probably not in your plan to make such integrations, i am asking if you have any plans about plugins. Instead of forking your code and making changes for their own needs they people be able create one more plugin and use that if they need.

I see that you have REST api and everybody can use that, but create new app and pass that through publishing process in the store is not easy thing to do, so it make sense sometimes to use existing applications and their services.

Thank you for the explanation. Yes, it's true nowadays we re using mobile more than computer. We should have modern GUI for mobile too.

For this I'm working with the request https://github.com/mycontroller-org/mycontroller/issues/56

          Currently analyzing with http://ionicframework.com/
