LM393 remove LEDS
-
Hello all,
Is it possible to cut the LED's on an lm 393 circuit board. t has two leds.
one is connected to a digital output and the other one is the power LED.
in my sketch i use the Analogue output. Thanks in advance

@derksuh To be absolutely sure I'd have to see the board or the schematics.
Most probably both LEDs are only used to give a visual feedback of the state of the digital output and the power supply, and have no other function in the circuit.
If this is the case, you can safely remove them.

If you are using the analog output you might be able to remove the lm393 and the pcb it is mounted on entirely. Like I did on my plant monitoring as described in https://forum.mysensors.org/topic/2147/office-plant-monitoring/21
