adding to actuators

So looking at the led dimmer example i was wondering if anyone could help me with coding a few extras. What i want to do is add a momentary switch and rotary encoder so i can adjust them locally and not have to go to the controller everytime. The other thing is that if i do adjust it locally the controller gets updated to show it has been adjusted up or down on or off etc
