@MikeF I've used the sketch using the FastLED library found on the domoticz forum:

When turning on using the power buttons on the right of the colour space it will turn on using the last colour sent to it unless you click in the colouspace. The sketch does need some work like it has no disco mode so going to work at improving it in the near future once I get my thermostat done.
