I am planning on using the Sensebender Gateway for my Gateway and was wondering if I still need a "decoupling" capacitor on the radio or does it already have one built in on the board? I have had to limit the transmission power to 15 DBM ("#define MY_RFM69_TX_POWER_DBM 15") due to instability hence the reason for my question?

    Thanks in advance.

@nalith the sensebender gateway does include both 10uF and 100nF decoupling capacitors on the board, near the radio.

I haven't used the GW with rfm69 that much though, so I have no experience with that radio.

I also had to limit power to 13 dBm; in my case I think the reason is that the board needs more power than what the battery can provide when over that level, but I was never able to prove it.
