Arduino & Microsoft Competition
-
Good morning guys, i have just stumbled across this competition that is supported and sponsored by Arduino and Microsoft. The winning contestants get the brand new arduino board.
Sorry if this is in the incorrect area, I couldn't find a more fitting forum section.

Good find. I bet based on some of the projects I've seen discussed here, this community could submit some really cool stuff!!
disclosure #1 - I work for Microsoft (as an IoT specialist)
disclosure #2 - I don't have anything to do with this contest (but I wish I did)...

Ha! yeah - actually there are more than one of us (MSFT employees) here.
I'm not eligible for the competition (never am) because I'm an employee, but definitely encourage the community here to put the best ideas forward. There are some incredibly smart folks here and really cool projects.

@stevebus - Its a shame I'm only certified/qualified by you guys (Microsoft) and not an employee too
One day, one day ay! We can all hope in life can't we haha.
But on a serious note, I think one of the projects that calls mysensors.org its home could possible get a win. Let hope someone sees this topic and follows it through

Really interesting, maybe I could build something cool around the Arduino HeatpumpIR (https://github.com/ToniA/arduino-heatpumpir) library I've been building. Right now I'm integrating it with Domoticz (http://www.domoticz.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=34&t=7179#p69647).
I'm an ex-Microsoft employee from Finland (resigned about a month ago).
