Hello, I am trying to design my own power supply and I am a bit worry about the minimum distance between hot and neutral lines ? I read in this link that according to EN61010, it shall be 3mm. Lots of people here do design there boards and I guess they have faced this issue before. Thanks.

 Hi! It depends... http://creepage.com/ Example:
 Insulation: Basic
 Pollution Degree: 2
 Material Group: IIIa or IIIb
Working Voltage: 250 Vrms or VdcCreepage is 2.5 mm or 98.4 mils I try 3mm on my boards.

In my DRU I use 100 mil clearance for AC lines (and 100 mil width).

@sundberg84 creepege differs from clearance. I guess if I add creepege then clearance can be decreased. I just cant find online which values are the minimum. Most of the search results requests to buy the certificates.
