A fun developing would be reading the canbus of the car. If possible to extract last milage, and fuel consumption.
Like when you take your car, drive away. Then when you come home, do the mysensors report how long you have driven, and the fuel consumption.:)

Some weeks ago i recieved 2 promotion PCBs when I shopped at Itead... not knowing anything about them i googled and it was a project like that (not for mysensors though...)
