      Software I use:

Designspark This do I use to draw the PCB and it's a free software.

Cambam is the software I use to produce G-code to my CNC. This is not free, but you can run up to 500 raws of code.

    • RE: How to mill a PCB at Home!

Here is my CNC mill, when i mill PCB boards do I use a plastic sheet, and have an opening just for the PCB board. I also use a 60 degree engraving bit, and mill to a depth of 0,145mm. The vacuum table do mill of about 1 tenth of a mm, time to time so I know that it's 100% flat. No need to probe more than to find the top of the PCB
The spindle is 1kw aircold, so I can't run it below 6000rpm Max speed is 24 000 rpm.

    • Wateringsystem

A start of my wateringsystem for my greenhouse.
Will use one Arduino to run the irrigation system, one for temp, rain and light messurement. Finally one Arduino to run 4 relays for my outdoor light.

    • Maybe a new controller

I got this in my mail today:

Hello, since there is APi we could support this. First we will check details and let you know when we release support.

      Best regards

    • CAN Bus

A fun developing would be reading the canbus of the car. If possible to extract last milage, and fuel consumption.
Like when you take your car, drive away. Then when you come home, do the mysensors report how long you have driven, and the fuel consumption.

    • RE: Office plant monitoring

Normaly when you use eletricity and water, you need to sacrify something. For an example, when you cool a boat engine with water, you normaly use zinkanodes. I guess this is also the same when we want to messure humidity for an plant.
So, if you should use copper anodes for messuring, you could paint them with a zink color.
What it effects the resistance, I don't know.

    • RE: Wateringsystem

@gregl one arduino to control watering, one arduino to check temp, and light also connected a rainsensor to it. The last arduino will check humidity of the plants in the greenhouse.
      Simple as that.
Also I can't program the arduino, I have to "steal" all coding.
I like this mysensor concept, I have a CNC milling machine in the garage. It mills surfaces up to 1100x 800mm, I can mill PCB:s and also wood, plastic etc. I have a 3D printer on which I also can produce details, and of course my workshop for soldering and stuff like that.
But I really need to learn programming, soI think I will try study this at theevenings now when it soons get dark, cloudy and rainy.

@mfalkvidd I guess the reliabillity depends on the enviroment.
short term solution for a quick repair, maybe.
But I agree, seems pretty neat.
