Battery Level and Step Up Power Converter
-
I don't think this was discussed before so here are the questions:
How would I know the battery level if I measure it before the step up power converter.
If I am correct I can not use the 1.1 reference because the supplied current is always the same.
Is it as simple as compare the input on A0 (in the sample) with the measured current using my multi meter?
Would the formula be comparable if I use 2 x 10MOhm resistors instead of what is mentioned 1MOhm and 470KOhm.

I'm not sure I understand.. I take "before" as before the converter as in off the battery directly? Do you mean something else?I use the Vin post on the converter to supply the battery sense circuit.

That is exactly what I mean
I use the Vin post on the converter to supply the battery sense circuit.
What I fail to see, probably my ignorance, is how I can recalculate the outputted value on A0 (in case of the example) to a value that really represents the battery level.

Good question, one in which I have no answer. My sensors typically return ~75% for 2 fully charged AA batteries.
