Will I be able to use ATMEGA48+NRF24L01+ wireless Shield module with mysensors library?

@jakes the small flash (4k) will make it very hard to debug (since debug code won't fit). And that's if you manage to fit the library at all. It might be possible, but it will likely require a lot of work. See https://forum.mysensors.org/topic/333/attiny-supported/ for a similar discussion.

@jakes Which features are you looking for? Most people use Arduino Nano or Arduino Pro Mini.

I like the form factor of the wireless shield module. Which directly plug in to NRF24L01. I like Sensebender Micro but it cost 14$ vs these shield cost much less < 5$.
I want to be able to build all my sensors < 10$.

@jakes it might be worth reaching out to the vendor and ask if they have an alternative with a more powerful mcu.

These might be useful as well, but require soldering

Hello, you should give a try to "EasyPCB" it's very convenient to use and to make first sensors that are clean and without wires everywhere. It keeps things simple but still have a connector for each pin of the pro mini. I found it really great when I started with MySensors and still use sensors made with it now.
                Cost will be very low:

                • less than 1.5$ for the PCB
                • less than 2$ for the arduino pro mini clone
                • less than 1$ for the NRF24L01+

Less than 5$ including capacitor for the radio, resistors, solder, ...
5$ left for the sensor, that's enough for a lot of options.
