@openhardware.io Very cool. Lego parts coming together

I just now posted Version 2. I moved the module to the top so that the antenna would be unimpeded by the PCB. Also, I added a large ground plane, which I think may help with range.
-
Somehow, the files are not recognized by pcbs.io.
Do you have any idea what's wrong?
-
@Toyman
Not sure. I ordered from OshPark, and OshPark didn't seem to have issues.

@Toyman
I just now tried it on pcbs.io, and it does complain of a duplicate layer board outline. Not sure what that's about. I only see one board outline file. Maybe contact pcbs.io? Like I said, OshPark accepted it fine. So, sounds like an error in pcbs.io software.

Can I kindly ask you to upload files in .brd format as well?

Can't. I would, but I'm using diptrace, not Eagle. Diptrace only exports to gerber. A shame, isn't it?

it's me again I am was trying to get a quote from dirtyPCBs and noticed that the board has 40x52mm dimensions thus NOT fitting into their 50x50mm option. Is there any way to squeeze the board into 50x50 outline?

Yes, it could be done, but it creates a procedural problem. I've already ordered the ones that I've posted for testing. @hek wants the boards tested before they are marked as no longer a "work in progress." If I were to shrink the size, I'd have to order them again, which I don't really want to do, and it would also lengthen the time they are "work in progress".
Maybe try seeed? I think they're running a promotion right now. $4.90 for ten 100mmx100mm boards.

In any case, I'm aware the board might possibly be refined in various ways, but I intended it just as something rough-and-ready that I whipped up for my own POC testing, and I decided to share the board while I was at it to save others the time of doing the same. I'm guessing that more refined boards will be released by somebody in the future if you're willing to wait long enough.
