Assistance on sensor project

I am new to the whole sensor family, however I have to build gas sensors(about 2) in a network for gas leakage detection. I will like to know the full components to buy urgently. Thank you

Besides the obvious 2 gas sensors, I'd say a RPI3 (for controller and gateway), 2 arduino pro mini 3.3V for the sensors or 2 Nano (since I guess you will have the sensors not battery powered), some assorted capacitors, 3 NRF24 radio modules (maybe you could get a shielded NRF24 PA LNA for the gateway), personally I like these modules but it is up to you if you have other voltage regulators.

@gohan thanks a lot

While you are at it, get some extra parts too, just in case you fry something since in the beginning it is not that hard.

And they're cheap.
