[SOLVED] Anyone a working example of the combination NewPing 1.9 and MySensors 2.2.0 ?

Does anyone have a working example of the combination NewPing 1.9 and MySensors 2.2.0 ?

I keep getting distance = 0, while the basic distance sensor sketch works perfectly (on the same setup), so the hardware side is OK.

@gertsanders [SOLVED]: a wrong type in a declaration gave constant '0' values. Now corrected and distances is now measured correctly.

@anand There was vastly more time wasted trying to get the original concept to work, than it look to learn basics of Domoticz scripting after finding a solution used by others. The sketch complexity and size is dramarically reduced for the Node, it still responds to changes in boiler or PSU condition within a second, and reports temperatures and power condition regularly. Domoticz reconciles everything to default 5 minute time slots, this method provides boiler run times to an accuracy of a minute which is quite adequate.

well.. i guess not..... It seems that its working for a short while. after that 1 of the relays does not respond anymore, when i set on relay on, both of the relays are going on? any help where my sketch is wrong? Getting closer.. I received a much better 'radar' sensor (the directional one). The only downside is that it has a bright green LED that turns on whenever it detects motion.

The atmega32u4 / pro micro is not very commonly used. https://forum.mysensors.org/topic/1790/pro-micro-hookup-and-code has some information, but it doesn't look very easy.

@hek, I suspect that there is something wrong with this pull request. If you just returning true, then protocolParse() will not be called and gatewayTransportReceive() function in MyGatewayTransport.cpp will receive previously parsed message.

As I recall the "normal" bootloader have not configured the WDT (I guess it's too difficult for a newbire to understand and handle WDT) Optiboot have WDT configured and you can set it Remember to call this at for each less than 8sec, else you will get reboot via watchdog I recommend not to set the wdt time too short, as you then won't be able to upload a sketch, as the Arduino then will reset during sketch-upload (But this isn't a problem when using ISP) wdt_enable(WDTO_8S); https://github.com/Optiboot/optiboot/wiki/HowOptibootWorks
