Sensor for measuring sensitive touch
-
Hello
Im currently working on an Arduino based project, which involves a sensor that suppose to be sensitive to a soft touch and can't find an appropriate one.
Requirements:
1.sensitive for soft pressure.
2.flexible.
3.Resistance for wet and humid area.
4.as narrow as possible (it is supposed to fit on a narrow curved stripe).
5.a good and precise resolution.I tried to use a softpot potentiometer, but it wasn't sensitive enough. I think that it's because the sensor is pressure based and maybe a non pressure based solution can achieve netter but since im not familiar with sensors so I would love to get an advice.
Im open to new concepts and ways of thinking about that.
Thank you very much*Data sheet of the potentiometer I already tried to use:

@gal-shtendel Did you try a regular strain gauge, or maybe a piezo disc?

Maybe you have to do some (internet) research on how the screens of smartphones or tablets work. something like this. Ok it's a little bit over the edge for a Arduino, but it gives some direction I hope.
