    Hello,

I'am new to the mysensors-concept and have some arduino nano's, NRF24L01+ and some sensors.
On the gateway arduino I compiled an uploaded https://github.com/mysensors/MySensors/blob/master/examples/GatewaySerial/GatewaySerial.ino
The NRF24L01+ is connected like told in https://www.mysensors.org/build/connect_radio. I double checked by wathcing the video and matching my colors on the ribbon wire, so faulty connection is ensured.
The arduino is connected to my pc with a 4 port external powered usb hub. I think the arduino has enough power. Also put the capacitor (47 uF) between Vcc and Gnd of the NRF24lL01+.

The serial monitor does show activiteitbut no connection.

The sensor arduino I compiled and uploaded with a sensor sketch. I tried with and without the sensor to connect to the gateway but this does not work.

    Any suggestions?

@thuurke HI there, and welcome to the forum!
Could you post debug logs from both the gateway and sensor(s) so we can help diagnose the problem?

It looks like your sensor is not getting a proper id. There are quite a number of things that coiuld be causing this. Is your gateway connected to a controller?

The log parser can be used to make it easier to read the log.
            Gateway link
            Node link

The gateway log shows that the gateway sees the find parent request sent by the node, and sends a response.
The node log shows that the node doesn't see the response.

What is the distance between the gateway and the node? It needs to be at least 1 meter / 3ft, otherwise the signal can be too strong.

Do you have a capacitor on both the nf24l01+?
