    Does anybody have any experience with this chip?

    I have installed drivers for it. (Not sure if they are the correct drivers) but arduino software does pickup the port.

    http://www.tinyosshop.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=74_126&product_id=600

    When I try and upload a sketch I get a programer not responding error

    Using Arduino 1.6 on Mac OS X yosemite

      @Terence-Faul the same chip is used on official Arduino-Nano

      Should be no problem. I have used it on my MAC and on PC without any issue
      It is better to download drivers directly from FTDI official site

      sense and drive

          another question concerning this programmer:

          • can this one be used for setting fuses on the arduino pro mini?
          • if yes: whats the -p option when using avrdude with this programmer?

          Thanks in advance
          Dakky

          Gateway: Arduino MEGA 2560 R3 :: W5100 :: Ethernet GW

            @dakky

            No, it can not set fuses.. You need a ISP programmer for that. There are lot's of "cheap" isp programmers around, even an arduino can be made into a ISP programmer.
