I am looking for a possibility to extend an ir signal. And I don't mean one with a loose power supply..
I use an IR remote control that can send and receive. The device to be programmed can also send and receive. Only this is at a meter or 2.5 high. Targeting the remote control is therefore quite difficult and must then take a ladder.
Does anyone have an idea if this is possible?

    Tanks.

When this question is on the wrong place, sorry for that.

@mike123 yes. There are IR extension kits available. Example: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/IR-Emitter-Extender-Extension-Cable-IR-Signal-Receiver-IR-Emitter-Blaster-Extension-Cable-Wire-Cord-USB/32781503264.html

If you want to use MySensors, https://www.mysensors.org/build/ir is a good start.
