    Hi,

I ordered these for my 5v sensors but I can't get them to work. The radio is not doing anything when I power them with this regulator and I'm not receiving any error message or anything in serial monitor. When i switch to one of the ones with a socket it works immediately. I've measured with a multimeter and it's about 3.2 to 3.3 volts.

I've tried with a capacitor but it's no difference.

    Not working:

    Working:

Anyone else experienced the same or have any idea what could be wrong? :/

Can you share how you connected them and which additional components you used? Hard to say why a regulator doesn't work without a complete picture.

I use them for the radio only. Connected as show on the build page http://www.mysensors.org/build/connect_radio
        No other components connected.

        5V to Vin
        GND to GND
        Vout to the radio VCC

I've tried with both 5V from VCC on the arduino and 5V directly from the power supply.

I've ordered a second batch of LE33ACZ in case there's something wrong with the first one.

@Aloha , I use these regularly in my projects without any issue. Just once when I swapped vin and vout ;-)

Good to know that they are working for you at least! I have measured with a multimeter so I'm sure I'm connecting it correctly. If I disconnect the Vout from the radio I get "Radio init failed" error message.

@rvendrame, have you tried both with capacitor and without? Did it make any difference to you?

I usually add the 4.7uF cap between radios's VCC and GND, but I'm still getting some eventual st=fail on some distant radios... It worth a try I'd say.

I am having the same issue. If I disconnect the regulator I get a radio error. With it connected, nothing appears in serial monitor at all.
Did you ever figure it out?
