@krajcl Does it only crash when sending this particular message?

It's late (early morning) I did not want to read over all the last three months posts so my question... is there a solution for this problem? I just downloaded the latest library and found the NodeMCU will reboot when a node initializes. Data below. Just point me to the solution if you would please. Thanks very much.

    • RE: Compile error with v1.5 library using #define SOFTSPI

Yes it is right on the libraries branch. I was a bit wrong in that the Arduino IDE compiled with the following errors ... similar to the other IDE.

      In file included from C:\Users\Scotts\arduino\libraries\MySensors/MyTransportNRF24.h:26:0,
      from RGT_SerialGatewayLCDmega.ino:26:
C:\Users\Scotts\arduino\libraries\MySensors/utility/RF24.h:20:23: fatal error: DigitalIO.h: No such file or directory
      #include <DigitalIO.h>
      ^
      compilation terminated.
      Error compiling.

Oddly the DigitalIO directory is contained on the libraries branch.

    • RE: Compile error with v1.5 library using #define SOFTSPI

The directories look correct. I will attempt to put the structure in this message. I simply downloaded from the MySensor site "Arduino-master.zip". Expanded in my download directory. copy and paste over the Arduino IDE directory replacing any existing files with the MySensor files.
removed the comment on the #define SOFTSPI and received those errors above.

Arduino>libraries>MySensors>examples> (lots of directories with samples directories)
      Arduino>libraries>MySensors>utility>RF24...
      Arduino>libraries>MySensors>utility>RFM69...
      Arduino>libraries>MySensors>utility>SPIFlash...
      Arduino>libraries>MySensors>utility>sha256...
      Arduino>libraries>MySensors>utility>RF24...
      Arduino>libraries>MySensors>utility>(many other MySensor files)

I don't seen the ./MySensors/drivers/AVR/DigitalIO/DigitalIO.h in the download package... yet.
Although it did come with a DigitalIO directory in the package.

    • Compile error with v1.5 library using #define SOFTSPI

Situation: I downloaded the v1.5 library and installed it over the top of the Arduino IDE 1.7.8 version. I'm using the AtmelStudio IDE mostly. But in either case both IDE's give me the following errors. I don't want to rearrange the Mysensor library so can you tell me what the fix is, what am I missing? Thanks.

    • SparkCore MCU support for MySensors

      Hello Members.
Has anyone looked into porting code over to the Spark Core or Photon MCUs as an additional option to support the Gateway or even sensor nodes? The Photon is $19 and has many features which could increase the WiFi ability if needed and provide additional open pins for sensors in a small 3.3v package.

      Ideas???
      Thanks,

      Hi @freedomotic
I've read over all the posts and would like to get an update on the status of the plugin, also would like to know where to get the latest version. If I can get this installed I can help you test in on a very large system with over 50 nodes with various sensors on a ranch. Thanks,

Okay found the problem and it was mine. My voltage divider was not correct from the 5v Pro Trinket... sooo it works just fine. Thanks for your input!

    • RE: Library Support for Pro Trinket (Adafruit)

So... It went with the idea that the IRQ is not used and no luck on the communications. The serial monitor shows the following: "0;0;3;0;9;check wires". Now I was very careful about the wires and positions, they are good. I did ground the IRQ which is not used so it would not float.

My control unit "Uno" worked perfect with the same configuration and program. The exception with the Pro Trinket is the IRQ. I will look again at the spec and see what it says.

11:30am. Test do show that the IRQ is not used and it can float without causing a problem... hum interesting.

    • Library Support for Pro Trinket (Adafruit)

Hello, I have Serial Gateway using a nRF24L01+ and a single sensor unit using a nRF24L01 as a test and find it works pretty well. But now I'm moving the code and sensors to the actual MCU for the project. I'm using the "Adafruit Trinket Pro" https://learn.adafruit.com/introducing-pro-trinket/pinouts which does not allow access to the pin2 (IRQ for the nRF24L01) because it's use internal for the boot-loader program.

Question: Where do I find the definition for the IRQ pin2 so I can change it to a different pin on the Adafruit Trinket Pro. (e,g pin3)

      Thanks
