Where can I source the ATSHA204A
-
I have seen that the Sensebender makes use of the ATSHA204A.
Because I like the idea of using that chip I searched for a source for these puppies.
Unfortunately they are either very expensive or I have to order a lot (too many).
Obviously I checked out AliExpress but when you look at the description I would be surprised if many of them are original or even a good product.
Can anyone think (or know) of the best source for these and/or do I have to accept that they are expensive?

Have you checked mouser, or digikey? (they also deliver to europe), mouser wants 0.8$ per chip, if you order below 10 units.
Of course there are handling fees to add (if you can't bring your order above 100$ (or 65β¬ if you live in an β¬ country)
-
That is exactly my issue. Either the minimum order or the maximum handling fees
-
I could as Itead to stock some. But it means china delivery and their delivery fees.
-
@hek I will check how many I really want again the total price and let you know.
Shipping fees from iTead are always better
-
OK, I combined buying these from Mouser with a couple of other things.
No shipping fees anymore@hek thanks for the offer though...

@marceltrapman Can you share the link of the IC on mouser please ? I know we need the one with 3 pins but I can't differentiate between different IC serial numbers and which ones doesn't require ordering in large numbers. Thanks.

This one can be ordered in smaller quantities.
