    Re: HC-SR501 motion sensor
    Hello
Not very used to using sites like this so please excuse any stupid mistakes I may make.
I've purchased and used several of these sensors on Ebay and have always had to solder to the pin connectors on board because I don't know where to find the 3pin connectors for the output. I thought they were "0.1" connectors but they are slightly too large. I've scanned every webpage I could find referencing this sensor & absolutely nowhere does anybody make mention of the type or size of this connector.

Can anybody tell me what these connectors are called, or what the pin spacing should be, or even a digi-key, Allied or Mouser part #. Any info would be greatly appreciated
    Thanks

    C

Normally goes by the name pin header (strip). They're usually 2.54mm (but there are other variants).

@hek Thanks for the reply, but I bought 0.1" connectors, which is exactly 2.54mm if my metric is correct and they were just a slight bit too wide, but I'll search for "pin header strips" and see what I can find
