      How far have you been with the ACS712 ?

      z-wave - Vera -> Domoticz
      rfx - Domoticz <- MyDomoAtHome <- Imperihome
      mysensors -> mysensors-gw -> Domoticz

          attempt over last week , circuit board with 2x relay actuator and hall current sensor ( acs712 ) and step down transformer. The most challenging part is how to pack your creation in a nice box. ;) 2015-01-27 20.21.35.jpg

          Nice work.Can you show how you wired this and maybe share your sketch ?

          if (knowledge == 0) { use BRAIN; use GOOGLE;use SEARCH; } else {make POST;}

              @epierre .. nothing much .. used relay to control 2 devices and tried to calculate the power consumed ( in watts ) assume the input voltage is ~220v.

                Quick question but where did you get that enclosure from and the multi type plug sockets. They look modular?

                  @Dheeraj have you something to share about the ACS712 and voltage consumption, I could help too by trying to make my own tests ? I already have the chip.

                      hello,

                      thank for the picture.

                      As the others above, I would be very interested to know where you get that enclosure from and if you can share the sketch.

                      Thanks
                      Romain

                        @nakor

                        Seems to be a surface mount Crabtree box, which is a brand available in the UK.

                        I found a reference to something like this on a FARNELL site:

                        http://cpc.farnell.com/1/3/crabtree-electrical-switches

                          From what I understand the ACS712 is affected by magnetic interference. Do you think the close proximity to the relay will skew the readings?

                            @Shivanand-Chanderbally I recently finished a node using the acs712 and found it to be very sensitive to nearby magnetic fields. It is best to have it as far away from these as you can.
